I am proud to be an ex-IBMer. IBM was my first employer after graduating from Mahidol University in Thailand with a bachelor’s degree. I worked as a DB2 Database Administrator with IBM Solution Delivery Co., Ltd., or IBMSD. IBMSD worked under IBM Thailand to provide solutions to its customers. I was working for Kasikorn Bank, which is a well-known Thai bank. I got a lot of experience and knowledge there, and I also participated in numerous activities with the company, such as becoming a part of a dancing group that performed at an annual party.
The duties listed below are examples of what I do at work.
- Developing, administering and maintaining db2 databases.
- Understanding the requirements for data storage and accessibility
- Assigning user rights
