Overview:
I am a Web/UI Designer responsible for this project from day one, taking it from initial concept through to launch. The goal was to create a highly responsive and intuitive platform to simplify the purchase, gifting, and redemption of digital gift cards for users.

My Role & Process

1. Requirement Gathering & Discovery
I worked directly with stakeholders to understand business goals, user needs, and technical constraints. I gathered insights on the challenges users face with existing gift card systems and defined functional requirements for purchasing, sending, redeeming, and tracking gift cards.

2. Information Architecture, Flowchart & User Flow
I mapped out clear user flows for buying, gifting, and redeeming gift cards. I also drew detailed flowcharts to visualize system interactions and guide both the design and development teams. Structuring the content and features in this way reduced confusion and ensured users could complete tasks efficiently.

3. Wireframing & Low-Fidelity Design
I drafted wireframes to plan the layout, navigation, and main screens. I iterated on these wireframes based on stakeholder feedback.

4. High-Fidelity Prototyping in Figma
I created a polished, interactive prototype that aligned with brand guidelines. This included personalized gift card selection, secure checkout, and redemption flows.

5. Usability Testing & Iteration
I conducted usability testing with team members and sample users, gathering feedback to refine interactions. I iterated on the designs to ensure a smooth, secure, and intuitive experience.

6. Developer Handoff
I prepared detailed design specifications, component libraries, and documentation for the development team. I collaborated closely with developers during implementation to maintain design integrity.

7. Testing & Launch
I tested the platform in staging to confirm that all interactions matched the design and were fully functional. I supported the platform launch, ensuring a seamless experience for users and that businesses could track redemptions efficiently.

Outcome

I delivered a user-centered gift card platform that balances ease of use with security. Users can send personalized gift cards effortlessly, and businesses can manage redemption efficiently, all through a sleek, intuitive interface.
